alright! im having a little event, not really a contest per say but just something of interest for everyone to do. in celebration of new year's eve, im going to be taking my very first drawing of my draconity, where it all started, and im going to redraw it! the contest is for everyone to take their earliest drawing they can possibly find (baby scribbles dont count!) and redraw it. when it is done, put the original next to it and marvel at how much you have improved! then submit it to DA or FA (or here if you dont have either) and link it here so we can all see! there will be a 1st 2nd and 3rd place prize, voted for by the public! they will be judged on how much you have improved.

my first draco drawing has been very tightly secretly guarded, hoarded up away in a plastic sleeve in a binder, never before posted on the interwebs. this is for two reasons...it sucked horribly and i didnt want anyone to see >.< and also because it can either confirm my draconity...or destroy it. it teeters on the fine edge of a blade, but more on that when i post it! hee hee, secret time!


so anyway, in short:

o take the oldest pic or poem you made that you can find
o redraw or rewrite it the best you can
o put them side by side and upload them to the web and put a link to it
o due date is the last day of december, and the very last day of 2008, at midnight
o 1st place prize: full color drawing
o 2nd place prize: lineart drawing
o 3rd place prize: avatar of choice

Here are my commission prices, every 5th customer gets any one item free! no purchase necessary, does not have to be different people, if someone buys 4 things, they get the 5th thing free! or can be five different people, and 5th person gets it free! same goes for 10th and 15th!

it will be general SnF fanart, just draw your favorite scene or characters etc. pretty much free range :3 the deadline would be next next friday (not this friday, but the friday after next) the winner will be the next guest in SnF! not a permanent guest like heretic, might just stick around for an episode or three we shall see!

and the winners are... *drumroll* a tie! between Nekru and Lunarya! they both get a spot in the next comic! ...which is due today! as soon as i get their descriptions ill submit it, maybe monday ^^ good try everyone else, maybe the next contest!

Xemerzis, one of the members here, is feeling very down and needs our support! please, i dont know what to do he thinks he has no friends and nobody cares about him. hes on the verge and we need to help him out of this!
